..tiny bits of ice hits the ground with the heavy downpour
the window glass salvage itself from the painful strikes
like a bullet, they fire at the roof
yet leaving no marks but memories of those gone days and gone bys.

The storm slows as the fog starts to fade from the horizon leaving mist from the window glass. I wiped the mist, draw my name and smiled.

Even danger gives sweet nostalgic feeling if not bringing memories back to life. Out from the window, the strong flow of the river continues to angrily drag bold objects that cross its path. It is rage - so strong, it can't be stopped.

A lot of people says so that rain reminds them a lot of sweet and painful memories. Two extreme opposite feelings; either swept by the rain, by the storm. But rains do have miracles. I believe it so.

While I was watching the heavy drops of rain crash the dusty ground out from our boring office, I would wonder why we blame the rain so much, why we curse it and why we hated it. Yes, it may have brought us pain from the hundreds, thousands and millions of lives it has taken.Yet, the rain had brought joy to more people than those it took, gratitude must also come and acceptance must be realized.

When we were kids and innocence rules us, we would ask our parents if not our relatives why it rains. My favorite answer then was 'God is angry and he is crying"; so thats why it rains. Isn't it corny, a good answer for kids who don't understand so much and believes easily.

But wasn't it really true? Actually, that answers seems to be more believable than the scientific answer. While people enjoy what the modern world has to offer them regardless of what it would effect the environment, God must be watching us-ofcouse thats what he does. Then, when He saw that we are abusing the blessings He gave to us, He would be angry and He would cry so hard that it rained and storms would swept cities and places all over the world with just hours of heavy downpour.

Yet most of the time, the rains serves to be blessings. Farmers would jump in joy as the rain would irrigate their dry fields- a new life grows and families whose main survival is food and water are relieved. Rain provides life as it takes it,too.
